Switch to Kubuntu 7.10

Well this week I decided to give Kubuntu a try.With the release of 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon (Where do the pick these names) I thought it was the perfect time. Plus I couldnt get open suse to work with a bluetooth PAN connection which was the ultimate deal breaker. So far I love kubuntu. If it had Yast it would be perfect. Package management and installation is superb and it has A LOT of availbable packages with limited searching.

Linux 4 a Year

Over the weekend I decided to run linux and specifically OpenSuse 10.3 as my primary operating system over the next year since it was released this week. Over the next 12 months look back here for info and workarounds for getting Suse to play nice with the rest of my "digital enviroment"
